What Is My Path? And How Am I Ever Going To Find It?

When you are confuse and wonder what your life path or purpose is, your first step to finding out is to look within. It is not easy to see yourself with honesty, but it is the only way for you will only be reminded what you really are build in inside. It is like reminding yourself, what is your real role, what are your scripts? Because now you are like the actress who forgot her lines, thus forgetting what her role is suppose to be.

It's funny how after a decade, I went on a frantic search for Pocahontas movie soundtrack on Youtube, only to realize, Wow - what a powerful movie. When I finally found it, I have forgotten how much I used to love singing to their soundtrack and after 17 years later, I still remember all its lyrics! At age 12, I really didn't understood a lot of the lines that were said but of course, now I do and I'm in love with it even more. In retrospect, I think you would already know in your heart what it really meant, when you hear something so familiar at soul level, although your brain did not have the vocabulary for it.

If you grew up with Disney movie, you would know the older ones are packed with meanings and are beautifully written. One of the meaningful songs I find that could be useful for a lot of you is this song called "Listen to your Heart". You might think this is ridiculous, to use a kid's movie for reference but take your mind away from judging the cartoon appearances and that it is for kids only. Listen carefully to the lyrics - see how Pocahontas asked for guidance from Mother Earth and how she honor listening to her heart without doubting but with all honesty. She accepted her soul's message and in that instance, curiosity kicks in and she went to look for what it meant. When you are looking, the Universe sends you the answers and you need not look hard for it. However, patience may be the only thing you would have to endure in this process.  When you asked, the answers would showed up... sooner or later.

I was in that exact process in the whole of 2011. The whole time asking and searching, asking and searching, and finally I found it. If only I did not doubt myself, the process would have gone even faster. I listen to my heart, to find who the soul really is. When I accepted what my heart sang to me, it became apparent who I am suppose to be. It fits right in, it was very comfortable, it feels positive, joyful and centered. No need for struggling, frustrating moments... it will all feel right when you Listen To Your Heart.
